The Climbing Strong Man

 

There are many amazing circus acts and one of them is the Strong Man! He has super strength to carry heavy things. What else can he do?

Create your own Strong Man from the Squizzel Circus and make him climb!

 

What you need

  • Cardboard
  • Marker
  • Scissors
  • Straw
  • Masking Tape
  • String

    Step by Step  

    1) Draw the Strong Man on a piece of cardboard using a marker.

    2) Cut the Strong Man out. 

    3) Turn to the back. Cut the straw to fit the arm of the Strong Man and tape the straws down. (You may need to adjust the angle of the straw later to make it easier for the Strong Man to climb)

     

     

    4) Insert the string into the straw as shown in the photo.

    5) Now, the Strong Man is ready to climb! Hang the string around the door knob in your house. Hold on to the left end of the string using your left hand and right end of the string using your right hand and pull the ends of the string away from each other.

    Try adjusting the angle of the straw if the Strong Man has difficulty climbing. Have a climbing race with your friends and family!
