Balloon Boat

Anytime's a good time for making a balloon boat! The materials are obtained from the Fairytale Land Box. Cinderella's balloon car is converted into a balloon boat. How can Cinderella's car be converted into a boat? Which parts do we keep and which do we remove?

What makes the balloon boat move? Does the size of the balloon matter? What about the way the balloon is placed? 

There are many other ways to build a balloon boat. Provide different materials to find out which ones sink or float. Ask questions to guide your child's learning and explore why the balloon boat is able to move on its own when air is released.
